Samuel Mut Gai Dhap
Chairman of the South Sudan Federal Democratic Alliance (SSFDA)

Fellow citizens of South Sudan,

It is with great pride, humility, and hope that I present to you the People’s Charter of the South Sudan Federal Democratic Alliance (SSFDA).

This Charter is not just a political document. It is the founding instrument of a new beginning—written by the will of our people and shaped by the pain of our history. Every page, every principle, and every promise is born from the struggle of those who have suffered, resisted, and dreamed of something better.

The SSFDA Charter is a bold step forward for South Sudan.
It offers a peaceful, people-led alternative to decades of corruption, violence, and division.
Built on justice, federalism, and dignity for all 64 nations, it shows the path to a united, democratic future.
This is how we break the cycle—and build the country our people deserve.

I urge you to read this Charter. Reflect on it. Share it. Talk about it in your homes, in your churches, under the trees of your villages, and in the streets of our cities. Let it be studied in schools and spoken about in diaspora forums. For from this Charter, everything SSFDA will do shall flow—our institutions, our policies, our peace process, our defense, our reconstruction, and our governance.

Let it guide us.
Let it unite us.
Let it carry us from despair to dignity.

This is not just our Charter.
This is South Sudan’s turning point.

The SPLA liberated the country. SSFDA liberates the people.

Kalas Kiir.
Federal Now.
